Imagine you are a leading producer of high-tech plastics. But these materials always work behind the scenes – inside cars, underneath walls or hidden in 5G towers. How do you take these formulas out of the lab and into the limelight? This was Covestro’s challenge. Our idea: a virtual city of the future, built entirely from Covestro materials.
The #MyFutureCity campaign is a 360° digital experience, designed to light up both hemispheres of visitors’ brains. Featuring an interactive 3D city model, podcast episodes, imaginative essays and thought-proving infographics, this web experience fabricates a formula for a better urban future.
Reimaging today’s concrete jungle, #MyFutureCity explore how polymers can be used to build a brighter and a more sustainable city of tomorrow. An intersection of culture, commerce and material chemistry: the campaign opens new horizons in B2B content marketing, taking Covestro to never-before-explored digital touchpoints.
After Covestro’s virtual city was built, we developed a wide variety of creative assets to bring the right people into it, from audio and video ads to interactive surveys. Combined effective social, programmatic and native promotion, our campaign resonated with an exclusive set of B2B stakeholders – engineers, architects, city planners, construction managers and more.
